What is a horse gallop treadmill?
A horse gallop treadmill is an equine treadmill designed for controlled work at higher speeds, including gallop exercise. It allows the operator to manage speed, duration and incline in a repeatable environment, with the horse working without a rider or tack.
Unlike a walking treadmill or trot treadmill, a horse gallop treadmill is built for higher-speed professional use. It is most relevant where a facility needs controlled gallop work as part of a structured training routine.
Facilities requiring lower-speed walk exercise should compare the Stride Line. Facilities requiring controlled trot work should consider the Power Line.
Race Line models
The Race Line range includes three Horse Gym gallop treadmill models.
The right model will depend on the intended speed range, the size of horses using the treadmill, available infrastructure, operator experience and the level of specification required.
Race Line R1 Comfort
The Race Line R1 Comfort is the first model in the Horse Gym gallop treadmill range, with a maximum speed of approximately 45 km/h.
Race Line gallop treadmills suitable for professional facilities that require controlled gallop work but do not need the higher maximum speed of the R2 or R3.

The Race Line R2 Speed is the middle model in the Race Line range, with a maximum speed of approximately 50 km/h.
The R2 is suitable for performance-focused facilities that require a higher maximum speed than the R1 Comfort, while not requiring the full 70 km/h capability of the R3 High Speed.
